Counting the Days!

Isn't it amazing how the Jamboree official theme song makes Scouters look even more forward to Sweden? Well, speaking personally, this song has taken over my room... and brain too, since i cannot get myself to stop humming it!
a little inspirational verse from this song:
'If it's a change in you, then the world is changing too'!
so very true!! Let's just hope for the best for WSJ2011 - friendship, peace, understanding... and most of all scouting!

Jamboree fever may be taking over all the participants but it certainly did not miss to bug the ISTs! We all have different roles at this preparation camp (I'm the media contact; I'll be updating the blog from time to time and annoying everyone by taking photos). There are kitchen and activity duties, tuck shop (Ghamlu linja dritta!!) and of course our very own time keeper who oversees that we keep to the programme.

Right now we're serving cake whilst some of the participants are taking showers or doing their duties. There's an amazing breeze now, much better than the stifling heat which characterized this morning!

Until the next post... Simply Scouting!
